TARGET CANADA (City of Cornwall & Town of Milton) – two 1.35 M square foot distribution centres. Preliminary site evaluations followed by detailed design of all outside services (water, sanitary, storm), utility coordination, site grading, stormwater management and construction review. Design approvals for both DC’s achieved within 5 months, meeting Target’s requirements for 2013 Canadian launch.
PROLOGIS (Town of Halton Hills & Town of Milton) – two 1.1 M square foot warehouses. Provided civil servicing, stormwater management and site grading, together with traffic analysis, electrical and photometric design, which allowed for the opportunity to provide a full suite of engineering services in support of Site Plan approvals for both sites.
FEDEX CORPORATION (Town of Markham) – 80,000 square foot warehouse. Site engineering drawings and reports in support of site plan approval for this redevelopment project. A cost effective strategy was developed and implemented to replace an existing 60,000 square foot industrial building with a “state of the art” logistics warehouse. Services included construction review.
HIGHWAY 400 DEVELOPMENT (Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury) – Provided civil and transportation engineering services for a mixed-use industrial and commercial subdivision. Involved an extensive Traffic Impact Study recommending site improvements, and the design of a stormwater management facility to provide servicing for future industrial developments within the subject lands.
DUPONT STREET SELF STORAGE (City of Toronto) – Site Plan Application for the construction of a six-storey self storage and office building development. Included maximizing the building floor plate to approximately 80% of the site area, which made for atypical stormwater management and sanitary infrastructure installations.
HONDA OF CANADA (Town of Alliston) – Coordinate approximately one kilometer of the Industrial Parkway, an existing four lane arterial by-pass. Consisted of a new intersection design, modification of existing plant entrance, and the addition of new turning lanes to the roadway.
LONGO BROTHERS FRUIT MARKETS (Town of Milton) – 50,000 square foot “signature” store becomes final piece of the popular Maple Avenue commercial centre in Milton. Faced with tight grading and servicing constraints imposed by the built-out commercial park and the Ministry of Transportation drainage restrictions associated with the Hwy 401 corridor, Crozier & Associates worked with Longo’s development team to successfully create a comprehensive servicing and stormwater management strategy. The project was constructed in the spring of 2011 and opened for business in August 2011.
