Katherine Rentsch, P.Eng.

Katherine joined Crozier in 2020 and is now Manager, Private Services. She is a professional engineer with over 20 years of experience in consulting engineering.

Katherine works closely with our land development team across all offices. She specializes in the design of onsite sewage servicing and disposal for residential, commercial, and industrial developments, with an emphasis on nutrient removal requirements and specialized wastewater streams. Katherine has extensive experience completing assessments of existing onsite sewage systems and is well versed in the Ministry of Environment, Conservation, and Parks process for obtaining approvals.

As a leader in her field, Katherine is experienced in all aspects of development and construction projects, such as coordinating with technical staff in the field during the information gathering and pre-design stages, managing design professionals in the office through to construction, and commissioning projects. She is also a mentor to many women in the workplace through her involvement with the Crozier Women’s Initiative.

Over the past 15 years, Katherine has provided workshops and courses specializing in onsite sewage systems to the members of the Ontario onsite wastewater industry through the Ontario Rural Wastewater Centre at the University of Guelph. She is also a board member of the Ontario Onsite Wastewater Association, where she shares her expertise and experience with the Association’s members.

One of Katherine’s notable projects is Osprey Valley, which Golf Canada announced will be the host venue for the 2025 RBC Canadian Open.
