Collingwood, ON, May 6, 2025 – Crozier is pleased to announce a series of leadership appointments, reinforcing the firm’s commitment to cultivating strong, diverse leadership across the organization. These appointments also mark a significant milestone in advancing Crozier’s vision for its next phase of growth.

Crozier welcomes the addition of a general counsel and the appointments of several directors and a vice president which will strengthen collaboration and internal supports across the organization and further build business resilience.
Alex Fleming, P.Eng., MBA, is promoted to Vice President, Transportation. Joining as a project manager in 2006, Alex became a shareholder and Associate in 2014, joined the Board in 2020, and was made Partner and Director of Transportation in 2023. With over 25 years of experience, Alex has significantly grown the Transportation group, making it a key part of the firm. As Vice President, Alex will continue expanding the team across Ontario and beyond.
Kirsten Andersen, J.D., joins as General Counsel. Kirsten’s previous role was leading the Design Professional Group for the Canadian branch of a global insurance company, prior to which she handled claims for the same group after several years in private practice. At Crozier, Kirsten will advise on legal matters and lead the Risk Management group to support the firm’s growth plans.
Brittany Robertson, P.Eng., is promoted to Director, Development. Brittany joined Crozier in 2013 and quickly became an emerging leader. In 2018, Brittany was appointed an Associate and joined the ownership group. Recently, Brittany was promoted to Partner and appointed to the Board of Directors. As Director, Development, Brittany will continue overseeing land development operations within the Southern Georgian Bay, while growing the team across Ontario.
Janet Hughes, CHRL, is promoted to Director, Corporate Services. Janet joined Crozier in 2016 as Human Resources Manager, became a shareholder and Associate in 2018, and joined the Board of Directors in 2022. Janet advises leaders across the firm’s offices, working with various service lines. As Director, Corporate Services, Janet will oversee daily operations of the Corporate Services group and support the technical services and executive teams.
Chris Gerrits, M.Sc., P.Eng., is promoted to Director, Development. Chris joined in 2019 as a senior project manager and hydrogeological engineer, became a shareholder in 2022, and manager in 2024. Chris has expanded the hydrogeology team and will continue to advise and grow the service line to support our land development clients across Canada.
Elaine Plewes is promoted to Director, Finance. Since joining in 2016, Elaine has worked in various finance areas including payroll, benefits, accounts, and financial reporting. In her elevated role, Elaine will oversee all finance activities and collaborate with the Chief Financial Officer and the finance team on strategic initiatives.
