The Milton Chamber of Commerce (Chamber) recently honoured Crozier’s president, Nick Mocan, at the Community Awards Gala with the Business Person of the Year award. The Chamber recognized Nick for his contributions and connections to the community through volunteerism, charitable support, sponsorships, and more. Since spearheading the opening of Crozier’s Milton office in 2009, Nick has been a fixture in the community through his ongoing participation with the Milton Economic Development Advisory Committee, Halton Learning Foundation, Milton Chamber of Commerce, Conservation Halton Foundation and more. Appointed as Crozier’s president in 2020, he continues to set a great example for Crozier employees and local businesses to support the needs and prosperity of the local community.

In 2021, Nick was appointed Community Fellow of the Laurier Institute for Water Science for his research contributions and ongoing support of Laurier’s establishment of the Centre for Urban Watershed Research at their future Milton Campus. Nick’s research association with Laurier has advanced the future of stormwater management in Ontario and set the stage for the development of a world-class research facility locally.

Nick and the executive team have successfully navigated the business through the COVID-19 pandemic, posting record growth and advancing innovative programs such as Crozier’s industry-leading First-Time Homebuyers’ Assistance Program for employees. The contributions and perseverance of the entire team have been key to Crozier’s success in Milton and across Ontario.

Congratulations, Nick!
