Jurgen joined Crozier in 2011 as an intern from the University of Guelph, returning as a full-time employee in 2013. He is now a Partner with the firm and a key Water Resources specialist in our Guelph office.
As Professional Engineer and Manager, Jurgen supervises projects involving preliminary and detailed design of residential and commercial developments including grading, servicing, stormwater management, low impact development design, and floodplain analysis. He oversees a wide range of projects and is involved in consulting with local review agencies, managing client relations, and coordination of support staff.
Jurgen manages and mentors a team of EIT’s, technicians, and students within the Land Development Group in Guelph and also oversees the surface water monitoring and Permit to Take Water program out of Milton; servicing the golf and agricultural industries.
As an active member of the Guelph and District Home Builders Association and Western Ontario Golf Superintendents Association, Jurgen plays an instrumental role in business development, networking with new contacts in various sectors, and making strong ties in the community.
Jurgen is also a strong voice for the University of Guelph Water Resources program and works closely with our Co-op program in the Guelph office. In 2020 Jurgen became manager of the Milton office before spearheading the open of the Guelph downtown office in 2023.
