Alex joined Crozier in 2006 to head up our firm’s expansion into transportation engineering. He is a professional engineer and Partner with over 20 years in the industry and leads 30 professionals as Director, Transportation.
Alex provides transportation expertise for the firm’s projects, overseeing transportation impact and parking studies, access/parking/site circulation design and ultimately roadway design for any required development-driven improvements. His team’s early evaluations of proposed land use changes ensure traffic safety and design requirements are met, preventing mid-project design revisions. Alex also draws on his formal business and financial education derived from his MBA to evaluate transportation designs and development projects from a financial as well as an engineering viewpoint.
Alex is past president of the Georgian Triangle Development Institute, a not-for-profit association that fosters communication and cooperation amongst the diverse players in the development community. He is also Past Chair of the Collingwood Affordable Housing Task Force.
