An estimated 1 in 4 Canadian women endure abuse and have experienced violent situations, and over the past year, the rates have increased by 40%.
In September, our Collingwood Crew teamed up with My Friends House [1] in support of their signature fundraising event, the Red Shoe Walk.

My Friends House is a safe haven for women and children fleeing violence. They provide a range of services to ensure women gain access to informational resources and provide emergency shelter services and transitional housing. Just this year, they have helped over 600 women in Collingwood.
The Red Shoe Walk fundraiser invites men to step out and go for a walk in a pair of red heels, bringing awareness and funds to help end violence, promote equality, and cultivate healthy relationships. Every dollar raised counts towards their target of $50,000.
