Kirsten Andersen joined Crozier in 2025 as General Counsel, bringing a wealth of experience in claims handling, underwriting, and litigation, particularly in engineering and architecture-related practices.
In her previous role, Kirsten led the Design Professional Group for the Canadian branch of a global insurance company, prior to which she oversaw claims for the same group after several years in private practice.
As General Counsel at Crozier, Kirsten serves as the firm’s legal advisor, offering strategic legal advice to the executive team and Board of Directors. She reviews and assesses contracts to limit the firm’s liability, oversees the negotiation, drafting, and review of legal documents, and leads the Risk Management group in developing strategies to mitigate risks.
Kirsten also manages litigation matters, advises on insurance coverage and risk transfer mechanisms, and develops training programs for staff in areas related to risk mitigation. Her leadership and team management skills, along with her client-facing experience, make her an invaluable asset to our team.
