CRAIGLEITH SKI CLUB (Town of The Blue Mountains) – Design and construction management of the Club’s snowmaking system infrastructure upgrades, including the replacement and extension of approximately 300 metres of intake pipe into Georgian Bay across a popular local beach. Over a two-year period, Crozier successfully obtained approvals from a myriad of agencies and approval bodies at municipal, provincial and federal levels as well as the local First Nation Communities. Project success was achieved through the establishment of clear, direct communications with review agencies during the pre-design stage along with continuous follow-up during the permit expediting stage to ensure all approvals and permits were secured in time for the Club’s ski season while respecting the constraints posed by Northwinds Beach during construction.
GEORGIAN PEAKS SKI CLUB (Town of The Blue Mountains) – Following a devasting wind storm in Fall 2009, the Club’s Maintenance and Recreational facilities were damaged to the point where the buildings were deemed unfit for public occupancy. Crozier was retained to manage/administer the building restoration works project to ensure the works were completed in accordance with permit specifications and in time for the 2009/2010 ski season opening. Crozier also worked with the Club to ensure that full payment for the works was received from their insurance claim.
TRAFALGAR GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB (Town of Milton) – Design and construction administration of two large diameter maintenance crossings of the South Tributary of Sixteen Mile Creek, to facilitate the daylighting of a currently piped drainage system and access of heavy maintenance vehicles across the open channel. The design of the culverts were supported by hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and approved by Conservation Halton for construction.
