Senior HR Business Partner

THE OPPORTUNITY:

Crozier is looking for a Senior HR Business Partner to support the organization’s continued growth. In this role, you will work in collaboration with the executive team to develop and implement innovative HR initiatives to support the business strategy. This role will work closely with the HR Manager to design policies and programs that integrate human resources strategy with the organizational objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate across all divisions of the firm to execute on strategic initiative that support of the organizational objectives.
  • Proactively seek opportunities to engage with employees and assess the pulse of the organization’s culture.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations on ways to improve employee engagement.
  • Liaise with leadership and employees; acting as a resource to answer questions, administer policies, and resolve work related issues.
  • Build new policies and programs to enhance company culture and organizational efficiencies.
  • Work closely with the Recruiting and Marketing teams to develop creative and innovative sourcing strategies and leverage networking resources.
  • Assist with recruitment of key positions across the firm.
  • Participate in training needs analysis to identify the organizational training needs.
  • Contribute to the design and delivery of training to all levels within the organization.
  • Initiate and maintain partnerships with consultants and associations to enhance our HR service offerings.
  • Work collaboratively with the HR team to enhance existing HR programs: employee orientation; onboarding; performance management; and career development.
  • Support and reinforce policy implementation and compliance by engaging with employees and leaders.

WHAT YOU BRING:

  • Demonstrated ability to guide, coach and motivate others in support of organizational vision.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate persuasively at all levels of the organization.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Direct experience working in an Engineering or other Professional Services firm.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related discipline.
  • CHRL or CHRP designation preferred.
  • 7-10 years progressive HR experience.
  • Strong knowledge of current and emerging employment legislation.
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office suite of products, familiarity with HRIS systems (ADP WorkforceNow, Clear Company); able to learn and use new software applications and tools.
