Regional Economic Development Forum Brings Attention to Critical Need for Collaboration

Town of The Blue Mountains, ON –  Organized by the Georgian Triangle Development Institute (GTDI), the 2013 Regional Economic Development Forum spotlighted the critical need for strong economic development collaboration across the South Georgian Bay region.  The agenda included expert panel discussions featuring four South Georgian Bay small business leaders including Chris Crozier, Principal of Crozier & Associates;  Niru Somayajula, CEO, Sensor Technology, Andrew Angus, CEO, Switch Video and Mylisa Henderson, Director of Marketing and Sales, Scandinave Spa.

economicsforum [1]Break-out strategy sessions brought the 100 attendees to the table, including municipal council members and staff from The Town of The Blue Mountains, Collingwood, Wasaga Beach, Clearview, Grey and Simcoe Counties, regional business leaders, small business owners, GTDI members and Georgian Triangle Association of Realtors, as well as economic development leaders representing three other major regions in Ontario.
