MTB Transit Solutions is one of Canada’s leading companies in bus overhaul and collision repair. With over three decades in the industry, they have overhauled virtually every bus model on the road in North America. Due to the growing demand for high quality bus repairs and dealer deliveries, MTB Transit Solutions has become a major employer in Milton.
MTB secured a long term contract with a major public transit facility to prepare new units for delivery and provide ongoing maintenance and repairs. With a time-sensitive schedule to meet new orders and dealer deliveries, Crozier & Associates was engaged to provide the engineering design in support of site plan approval, for the construction of a new 40,000 square foot repair centre.
Beginning in July 2014 and working closely with the Town of Milton, detail design and site plan approval was achieved in three months, followed by construction in the fall of 2014. The facility opened for operations in June 2015 to support MTB’s timely fulfilment of customer orders.
