The Town of Caledon and the Caledon Equestrian Park was selected as the host site for the equestrian events for the 2015 Pan Am/Parapan Games. The Park, which is currently considered one of the leading equestrian facilities in North America, is now an international center for equestrian excellence with this investment from the Government of Canada, Province of Ontario, the Town of Caledon, Toronto and Region Conservation Authority and Equestrian Management Group.
Through lead architect, John MacDonald Architect Inc., Crozier was selected to provide civil site servicing engineering for the redevelopment of nine equestrian rings, the Grand Prix ring and Pavilion building, and two new indoor barns and stables. Crozier’s design included water servicing for these buildings, 600 outdoor stables and 80 RV connections. The project includes site grading, earthworks, innovative stormwater management techniques and a tertiary sewage treatment system.
