Last week, the ice was on fire at the University of Guelph’s Gryphon Centre as Team Collingwood faced off against Team World (a.k.a. all other Crozier offices) in our legendary company-wide hockey showdown, the Crozier Copper Cup.
The energy was electric from puck drop to final whistle. Aaron Wignall refereed while a rowdy crowd of fans brought the heat with custom signs and dirty chirps.
Highlight of the night was a glorious (and totally staged) scrap between Nick Mocan and Chris Boyce that landed them both 5 in the box for “fighting.”
Whether you were in the stands or on the ice, it was a night to remember.
Stick taps to everyone who came out to play and cheer — Crozier spirit was alive and well!
