Town of New Tecumseth –The collaboration of two multi-nationals on improvements to the Industrial Parkway is good news for Alliston traffic and our Crozier & Associates team who were awarded the engineering services contract associated with the project.
Honda Canada Manufacturing’s (HCM) expansion of Plant 2 (on the north side of the Parkway) to consolidate parts storage on-site is expected to reduce truck “shuttling” traffic from the current south-side storage facility, by 85%. The road, utility, electrical and construction services associated with the Parkway improvements and a new west-side entrance for HCM, will align with future development of the Alliston Industrial Business Park directly south of the plant. Crozier & Associates is also acting for Walton, a multinational real estate investor and developer, on the implementation of their proposed Industrial Park which will provide a variety of opportunities in a prime GTA location, with lots that range in size from 2 to 144 acres.
The traffic engineering scope associated with the new entrance includes approximately 1,100 metres of widening and auxillary lane design, modificatiPrint This Post | Back to News
