Junior Water Resource Engineer
Locations: Collingwood and Milton
We are seeking a Civil Engineering graduate enrolled in/eligible for the Engineer-in-Training program with 1 to 2 years related work experience.
Specific qualifications include:
- Experience in preparation/analysis of hydrologic and hydraulic computer modelling.
- Knowledge of municipal land development principles and requirements within the Province of Ontario.
- Experience with HEC-RAS and SWM/HYMO modelling software is required.
- Strong communication and report writing skills and ability to prioritize multiple project timelines.
- Working knowledge of business software (MS Word, Excel, Outlook).
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed water resources modelling/design/studies for a wide variety of residential, commercial and transportation projects, including subwatershed plans, environmental servicing plans, functional servicing reports, floodplain assessments, capacity studies, erosion control and stormwater management studies.
- Participate on various project teams to identify issues, modify designs in order to satisfy approval requirements, assisting our clients in advancing projects toward completion.
- Utilize and develop knowledge of requirements of reviewing agencies such as Conservation Authorities, NEC, etc.
- Obtain materials, gather data, obtain info from various sources to prepare reports and resolve issues.
- Draft, edit and finalize technical reports and design briefs to summarize analyses.

CAD Technician
Location: Collingwood
We are seeking a graduate of a college level Civil Engineering Technician/Technologist program. Specific qualifications include:
- 2 to 3 years work experience with AutoCAD/Land Development Desktop/Civil 3D or equivalent.
- Conversant with CAD standards and principles as they apply to land development, roads and other infrastructure components.
- Familiarity with municipal standards and requirements within the Province of Ontario.
- Accuracy and ability to prioritize multiple project timelines.
- Working knowledge of business software (MS Word, Excel, Outlook).
Responsibilities
- Under direction of Project Managers, prepare drawings, plans and presentation materials for a wide variety of residential, commercial and transportation projects.
- Prepare/edit drawings and figures for inclusion in reports/submissions/briefs.
- Review design standards to ensure drawings comply with municipal/other agency standards.
- Assist with organization/filing of both paper and digital CAD files.

Senior CAD Designer – Infrastructure
Location: Milton
We are seeking a Certified Engineering Technologist or Professional Engineer with 10 + years progressive experience. Specific qualifications include:
- Demonstrated proficiency in AutoCAD/Land Development Desktop (LDD) and/or Civil 3D as well as other business software (MS Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Thorough knowledge of the Ontario Building Code, Provincial and Municipal standards and their application to site specific projects.
- Mature, self-motivated individual possessing strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work in/foster team environment.
- Ability to prioritize deadlines, track status and facilitate progress on multiple projects.
Responsibilities
- Design and preparation of public and private infrastructure projects for residential subdivision, industrial/ commercial developments and public road improvements. Specific tasks include design of new roads, upgrades/modifications to existing roads, design of infrastructure components such as sewage collection, water distribution, grading earthworks and stormwater management.
- Provide QA/QC for in-progress and completed designs.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current Provincial and Municipal engineering standards as well as requirements of other reviewing agencies such as Conservation Authorities, NEC, etc.
- Coordinate with clients, municipalities, agencies and sub-consultants to facilitate/expedite design completion.
- Manage CAD department workload/resources.
- Mentor technical staff.
